Anger, Origins Of

We become angry* because of fear. We are afraid that the person we must correct will bridle at our correcting them. So we become angry as a way of cowing them into submission, because we are afraid.

The solution? Come to the situation prepared. Reflect on the inevitability of the instruction that must be imparted - by someone - to the hapless soul who has done something incorrectly. How they react is their business, but there is no way out for us giving the necessary instruction if it is out duty.

A pill of chill: We do our duty and let the chips fall where they may. We don't need to become angry or fearful. Take it as an adventure.

Cheers!
